Regular Membership Eligibility
- Must have at least five (5) years of HR experience, including at least one year working "in-house".
- To maintain current regular membership, the member must be current on the annual membership dues (set presently at $150.00). Consultants that are members of HRCA and take on a full time regular position with a company may retain their membership with HRCA, provided they are current in their annual dues. Membership for a year runs from 7/1 to 6/30 each year.
- Prospective members may not be current direct employees of contingency, search, brokerage or retained agencies to be eligible for initial regular membership.
- Must adhere to HRCA's Code of Ethics.
Regular Membership is eligible for the following: 1) vote on all issues, 2) serve as an Officer or committee Chair, 3) utilize the Job Hot Line listing, 4) participate in HRCA meetings and events, 5) inclusion in the HRCA annual directory, 6) inclusion to the HRCA web site, 7) receive weekly e-mail updates, and 8) receive the published newsletter.
Associate Membership Eligibility
Associate members must meet the following criteria on an ongoing basis:
- Must be currently employed (as a full time regular employee) in some professional HR capacity, or
- Must be currently enrolled in a HR Bachelor's or Master's degree program, or
- Must have completed a Recruiter or HR professional training program. Such programs are subject to review by the HRCA Board of Directors or Membership or Education Committees of HRCA.
- Must continue to be current in their annual dues, which are set at $100 per year.
- Anyone that meets the qualifications for Regular membership may not apply for Associate membership. If there is some doubt as to the prospective applicant's qualifications meeting these criteria, then the Board of Directors reserves the right to review the membership application and decide on the candidate's qualifications for meeting the criteria. These reviews shall take place at the monthly Board of Director's meeting for any new applicants for HRCA membership that may have been received in the previous month.
Associate Membership is eligible to: 1) Participate in HRCA meetings and events, 2) serve on a committee, 3) receive weekly e-mail updates, and 4) receive the published newsletter |
